Major congratulations to everyone who participated in the Seattle Marathon last weekend π
!!! Everyone showed their training paid off and gave it their all out on the course πͺ π πβοΈ πβοΈ
Alina, Alex, and Jeron absolutely crushed it in the full marathon!! And everyone ate John and Mike’s dust in the half marathon!
Fantastic day of Sunday events!! This morning we had a great relay at our track practice and then this afternoon our trivia social was so much fun (team mascots shown on the last slide)!
Our second social fall quarter is a Trivia Event on Sunday, 11/19 at 1 pm!!! Join us for a good time and an opportunity to win some rad gear!
DM us if you’re interested and not in our messenger group chat!
Dues to be a member of Husky Triathlon Club for 2023-24 are $80 for the entire year. These dues cover practice facilities, sponsorship swag and discounts, and race reimbursements. (In our opinion, the benefits much outweigh the cost!)
We do not intend for this expense to inhibit anyone from continuing with the team, so please reach out to our treasurer, Noah, at nam1414@uw.edu if this will at all restrict your experience with the team.
Please aim to pay your dues by Nov. 11th. We prefer payment through PayPal @huskytriathlon. If that does not work for you, DM us or email Noah and we can figure something out for an alternate method of payment, whether that be Zelle or Venmo.
Put on your best (swim)suit π©± π©³and join us for our long awaited swim practice π on Wednesday, Nov. 15th from 8-10 pm. We have lanes reserved specifically for us and we’ll have a workout for everyone for the first hour and a free swim for the second!
Remember to join our roster on IMLeagues and fill out the waiver prior to attending practice if you have not already this year!
Swim practices will be on Wednesdays 8-10pm every week, so join us for any that you can make it to!
First combo group ride π΄ π΄βοΈπ΄βοΈ!!! Thanks everyone for showing up and making it a fun one!!! βοΈπ₯Ά
Thank you to everyone who came out to carve some pumpkins π and made it a successful first social!
We had some very rad designs, including two members who carved portraits of one another (see the last two slides). The resemblance is uncanny π―!!
Our first social this fall will be Pumpkin Carving at Ravenna Park on Sunday, 10/22 at 1:00 pm! Meet us at the pinned location (in the second slide) near the playground on the 55th St side of Ravenna park at 5520 Ravenna Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98105.
Bring your own pumpkin, carving tool, and a fun idea! We will have some supplies, but try to bring some if you have any to make sure there’s enough to go around! It will be lots of fun and we hope to see you there!! DM if you have any questions!
Here’s our weekly practice schedule! We’d love to see you at any that you can make it to!!
DM us if you have questions!
